Lineage Adena Guide

Welcome on Lineage 2 Adena – Blog. Today I would like to add small guide for adena in Lineage. This will help you earn more money.
Let’s start with CRAFTING!

First of all you should make a dwarf – either a crafter for making shots, or a scavenger for spoiling mats. Both professions can be really profitable, if you are playing smart. In Lineage you can earn a lot of money from crafting. While it is the higher-level dwarves that get the most money at a time – they have extreme amount of cash from making very powerful armors or weapons. These lower dwarves can also find significant business in the crafting of base material – like coarse bone powder – it’s probably most popular way to earn money as low level Dwarf. Best place to do business is Giran.

As crafter you can get really lot of cash creating and selling shoots > soul, spirit, and blessed spirit. Cheapest way is to buy the components and craft than it is to purchase ss/sps ready-made, I tell it is CHEAPER ;-). Probably most of your Lineage Adena can be get from in these way, so do not ignore this way to obtain cash.

Well, base materials can be VERY expensive, and the ability to gain these materials more rapidly than other players can work to your advantage when it is time to craft. Dwarf can obtain drops from mobs that are inaccessible to others. However, when partying the rest of the group can become rather insistent about sharing the spoils. You should be sure that everyone is aware that you want to keep your spoils.

Secondly – QUESTS – If you don’t like quests, you should try few, because it’s great way to earn some Lineage 2 Adena. You should know, that all villages have quests you can do at level 20 for 100.000 adena each. When your character is higher level, you should try other quests, like the wish pot quest (around level 30). Quest begins with lady called Matild – you’ll find her house located due west of the Ivory Tower on the west side of the river. It’s traveling quests – you need to travel from north of Giran all the way to Windy Hill (close to the Orc Barracks). Well, you need to travel a lot, but reward is really nice – The wish pot recieved from this awesome quest can be sold in private store for around 400-500 adena.

Other profitable quest is the Coin Collector quest as. Quest starts with the warehouse keeper in Hunters Village. Your task is to collect coins from few mobs. After this quest, you can sold all coins, or make a variety of c-grade jewelry. Other option is to use the coins to upgrade to level two – if you pick this way, you can craft certain type of c-grade armor with the coins. It can be very rewarding, as the armors sell for more Lineage adena than their crafting price.

If your avatar is around level 40 you can also complete the Enhance your Weapon quest. In this quest you can level up SA crystals. Remember!!! You are able to carry only one crystal in your inventory at a time, so be sure you bring one, or use your eater/friend pet/sin as a backpack to hold the rest of these crystals. Another thing is that you can only hunt certain mobs for leveling the crystal. In my opinion best targets is Harit Lizardmen for levels 1-5, and second Doom Knights through level 10. You can level up also crystal with blue mobs, but its longer way so I don’t recommand this way. You do not need to use the crystal right before the mob dies, but you should while he is at under ½ hit points.

Sometimes there are very simple quests that can run in conjunction with your other activities like hunting etc – this way you can earn more adena! Other great quests are Yoke of the Past (it’s quest from ancient scroll), Hunt of the Black Lion, and Conquest of Alligator Island.

There are more very interesting quests in Lineage 2, but before doing quest, you should check out or ask someone who one is short and easy enough. Some of them can be really long, so watch out before you do any of them.

Last – but not worst – is way to earn adena doing some market business! There are a lot of items; you can easily buy cheap that people will pay pretty nice cash for. One of the most common items are lucky charms. Of course there are others. Anyway you should try items purchasable from the priest of dawn/priestess of dusk and try to keep in your brain all stuff about items players always seem to buy (like potions – well in every MMORPG players are buying potions…). Be sure to remember about servers exchange rate, when dealing with things requiring ancient adena. Keep that in mind if you don’t want to lose money.

Another option is to buy things in towns with no (or low) tax and resell in towns that have higher tax rate. This is easy to do with items like soul ore etc. Laziness of player is eternal and has now limits – I remember that after playing in World of Warcraft ;-) anyway a simple trip from one town to another can make a really enormous difference in the cost of items. Be sure to use that to your advantage.

Last small tip – you should have patience. In Lineage like in other MMORPG, you must work systematically, with large douse patience. Every step is making you richer player, you just need to stay focused on your goal and be patient. The deals are out there, the quests are out there, the means of creating your own personal empire are all out there. It’s game! Lineage was created for your fun so try to relax playing in this game :-)

Lineage II and real life murder

Welcome on Lineage 2 Adena Blog. Today something disturbing and unpleasant related to Lineage 2. It’s first tragedy related to Lineage I ever noticed, most of them where related to only one game – World of Warcraft. News like boy of 15 collapsed after playing in WoW for for 24 hours or kid who burned other kid after school fight or death of young women snowly in World of Warcraft.

Did you heard about young Russian man who killed other Lineage II player? Well, check out this video. Some people have problems with distinction, fiction from reality and this may lead to similar tragedies. Well, playing to long may be very dangerous to your health, that’s why you should have longer break from Lineage or any other online game. I remember my first session in Lineage, i played around 9-10 h all week. Well, it was long time ago, now i play less. Anyway enough talk. Enjoy this video!

Next time i will add small guide about Lineage adena, now I’ve got not enough information on this subject, I need to gather and develop all…

See you next time on my Lineage adena weblog

HAPPY NEW YEAR! + many Lineage Adena!

Lineage III Source Code Stolen

South Korea company, one of the leaders in MMORPG development, NCSoft is informing that the source code for Lineage III was stolen by former employees and later sold to a Japanese competitor (hard to tell which one). According to Seoul Metropolitan police, 7 ex-employees of NCSoft are suspected in this incident.

Korean police is speculating that the theft likely occurred during a long series of job interviews with an unknown Japanese company in February. Probably then those former NCSoft employees provided examples of their software work to this Japanese company. Police is currently working which Japanese company is involved in crime.
Those 7 ex-employees are also believed to have played a part in the leak of the Lineage III program design.

Well in this situation we must wait longer for Lineage III, it’s hard to tell but releasing date can be around 2011. This is sad. Really sad. How could they sell source code? They thought that no one will realize that they sell it?

Woman arrested for deleting Lineage account

A Japanese woman was arrested some time ago for wiping account in Lineage. Girlfriend logged into ex-lover’s Lineage account with his username and password. Well you know what happened next…She just erase all data. Oh man its very scary, I’m not geek or something but if my girlfriend would done such a thing…Well, I would be very angry. How to trust anyone when your women can delete your MMORPG character-avatar? Few months of your playing can disappear in one moment :/.
When her ex- boyfriend noticed this fact, he reported the misuse of his account to the police.
“I did it as revenge for breaking up with me,” she told police.
Earlier, couple actually met through playing the game, love blossomed in the online RPG and the lovers soon met up.

Actually is hard for me to imagine that kind of revenge, how cruel that women is to do such thing to her ex? Watch out guys for your game data, passwords and username data. And of your memory card for PSX or other console.

Results of Lineage 2 Lookalike Contest

According to official Lineage 2 website, Lookalike Contest has been ended. As they said “what a tough decision it was”. Winners are Heza from Phoenix for Best Resemblance, Pinkye from Aria for Funniest and Glarawen from Sayha for Most Creative! For Lineage producers, picking the winners for this fan contest was very difficult, and the voting was incredibly close due to the amount of amazing entries they received from Lineage fans.

I picked up two most interesting photos from this contest and there you have it:

In the category of Best Resemblance, the winner is Heza from Phoenix!

And Mr. Isdin from Phoenix

Gratulation for all winners, if would know about this contents I would sent something to them. My Black Armor of Death is little bit dusty these days but i would gladly put it on and participate in some kinda photographic session ;-).
Well maybe next time..anyway if you are interested you can check out here, you can discover other very cool photos from this contest.

FBI Raids Lineage II Pirates

The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) conducted few raids across the country, closing down Lineage II pirating site L2Extreme.
NCsoft declared:

L2E was providing an estimated 50,000 gamers with unauthorized access to Lineage II, costing NCsoft million of dollars a year, the company said in a press release.

NCsoft North America general counsel, Matt Esber said “Operations like this essentially are defrauding customers by stealing from companies like NCsoft,” Mr Esber also said, “We’re extremely pleased that the FBI has worked with us so diligently to bring this particular case to its current state and we want our customers to understand that we will continue to fight similar operations in the future in order to maintain the integrity of all NCsoft games.”

Well i digg out this news from the past, it was 2 year ago. What is interesting there are no problems now in such a matter, i remember one very small private server for World of Warcraft but there were around 50 gamers on it so it wasn’t big problem.
I’ve found this article on kotaku.com and one guy have point, Tonaku: It would have been way cooler if they actually did the raid online in the game…he he well i wonder myself how FBI guys are spending time, maybe fishing or maybe they are like to grind monsters on Lineage raids?!

Generally this is update, according to official NCsoft statement “helps players advance their characters and achieve their goals faster than ever before”. “This update also introduces Kratei’s Cube, where players simultaneously fight against monsters and each other for bragging rights and special items.”

Chinese hacker and Lineage II

According to vnunet.com, Japanese authorities have arrested some time ago a Chinese student for hacking into the online game Lineage II. This Chinese guy has crafted a special bot that strip a player’s characters from armor, items, weapons and adena. Later he just sell all stuff on auction websites and later completed all transaction in the game. Other players who encountered this Chinese hacker thought they saw a regular player. But as the two would engage in a ferocious fight, the hacker proved invincible and would leave his pray unable to continue playing in Lineage. Mike Crouch who is PR manager for NCSoft, said that “Bots are the biggest problem we face with Lineage II”, “We kick people out if they use bots. “ – he added.

NCSoft is scanning game to catch all hackers using illegal software and doing illegal activities but bots are becoming more and more complicated and complex. Well very shady things happen in the world of online games, these days…watch out for hackers in Lineage anyway.

Account safety is one of the top issues in the gaming world out there today. Some MMORPG have done the virtual on-screen keyboard to protect against loggers, while others have simply a two password system… Is this method effective? I think not, because if the key logger obtained your primary password, then why would it not have your second password?

New method to improve security of our game accounts, is used by Blizzard – called “the Blizzard authenticator” – generates a random password for you to input each time before using your normal password to access your account. There are two ways Blizzard offers this account protection, and that is with a small device no larger than your average key chain.

Hacker and thieves are the biggest threat lately in MMORPGs. That’s you should keep your account data on a paper, somewhere safe. DO NOT share with anybody with your account data! Even when you receive mail from game company related to your MMORPG – it’s probably fake and they want to steal your account!

Lineage website

Welcome, my Lineage Adena Weblog. This wesite will be dedicated to one of the greatest and most popular MMO game, Lineage & Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne.

Lineage

Lineage is a fantasy MMORPG released in 1998 by the South Korean by NCsoft. It is most popular in Korea and is available in Chinese, Japanese, and English language versions. Lineage was designed by Jake Song, who also designed Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds. Like in other MMORPGs, we can pick one of 5 character classes – Elf, Prince, Dark Elf, Knight, or Magician.

(Lineage trailer)

It features classic RPG elements, such as beating monsters and completing tasks (quests) for a reward and experience points, levels, character attributes (charisma, wisdom, strength, etc.), and alignments (chaotic, neutral or lawful).

PvP combat is extensive in Lineage. We can engage in combat with other characters at any time as long as they are not in safe zones such as cities. By joining a bloodpledge we can engage castle sieges or participate in wars between bloodpledges.

As of April, 2008, Lineage has a little under 1 million active subscriptions.

Lineage 2

Lineage II is MMORPG, just like previous part. prequel. It has become very popular since its October 1, 2003 launch in South Korea, reporting 610,918 players during the month of March 2007. This time action is set 150 years before Lineage. The world of is divided into three kingdoms, Aden, Elmore, and Gracia. Aden lies south of the Border Outposts. Elmore lies to the north of the Outposts and capital castle is called the Rune Castle. Gracia is located to the west of Aden and Elmore. Elmore is more rugged having mostly mountainous regions along with a frozen winter wastelands.

(Lineage 2 trailer)

There are currently six races in the world of Lineage II

Elves – with high dexterity, movement, and high casting speed, but bad in offense
Humans – they have very balanced characteristics
Dark Elves – high magic and good melee attack
Dwarves – potent melee attackers and master craftsmen
Orcs – higher HP and MP but slow while moving
Kamael – humanoids with single wings

Humans, Elves and Dark Elves start off in the Kingdom of Aden. Dwarves and Orcs start off in the Kingdom of Elmore. We can choose from either fighter or mystic professions at the start, except for Dwarves and Kamael which are only able to select the fighter profession. There are currently a 36 classes for all races all together. Each race and subsequent class has a set amount of Stat Points already assigned to their class.

In Lineage II, a we can also obtain a monster that becomes our pet through the completion of quests. As long as certain conditions are met, a pet will not be bound by time limitations, nor will it be dismissed by force. These pets can be really helpful, because they can use their own armor, weapons and even own inventory.

Lineage and Lineage 2 are fantastic MMORPG – check out more about both games!
